Denim for Days

Monday, April 12th, 2010

We hear this time and time again – the 901 Leggings have become the gateway-jean back to denim. The lastest converter: Cupcakes and Cashmere blogger, Emily Schman.

“I’ve never been a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl.  It’s not that I’m always dressed up (because I’m certainly not), but I prefer breezy dresses to constricting, stiff denim.  When the legging/jeans hybrid appeared on the scene last year, I was skeptical that they could be comfortable and simultaneously flattering.  Turns out, some of them are.  Revolve sent over these J Brand Low Rise Leggings last week and I’ve barely changed out of them since.  They’re tight in all the right places (at the ankles) and have the right amount of give where you need it most (upper thighs) and I love that I can just easily wear them with dangerously tall heels as I can with ballet flats.”

Blogger ’The Stylish Wanderer‘ feels special in the J Brand Houlihan cargo skinnys.

“These J Brand beauties are probably the coolest cargo pants in the entire world. It was a real shock a few weeks ago to open up both Teen Vogue and Nylon and see these pants in the J Brand ad. Sometimes when something of yours is in magazine, you feel kinda special…”

J Brand CEO Jeff Rudes personally fits Liberty London Girl

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

“Liberty London Girl” UK blogger Sasha Wilkins loved her personal fitting with J Brand CEO Jeff Rudes at Selfridges in London.

A girl who only wears skirts – she was instantly hooked on J Brand and said:  “Jeff was such fun. I think J Brand may have converted me to the way of the trouser. Have chinos, leggings & classic stretch jean. Will shoot & report back on Liberty London Girl.”

Check out more of what Liberty London Girl had to say about her J Brand experience on her Facebook page.
